It Matters to the One: How Jess Lachney is Redefining Foster Care in Cenla

If you ask Jess Lachney who she is, she will tell you she is the President and Founder of Starfish Ministries of Cenla. But to the children she serves, she is often the person who provides safety during their most vulnerable moments.

Lachney is on a mission to "redefine the future of children that are in foster care" in Central Louisiana. Her organization has become a critical resource for foster families, adoptive families, and kinship placements across the region.
